The Gotfried PC.C.P.™ uses a minimally invasive procedure and dedicated percutaneous instrumentation to treat pertrochanteric fractures without fracture exposure. The instruments, implants and application technique, collectively, contribute to reduced patient trauma resulting in improved ambulatory ability.

01 PCCP

Features & Benefits

The PC.C.P technique is designed around four fundamental principles:

  • Closed fractures reduction to a 135° shaft/neck angle
  • Minimally invasive surgery with no exposure of the fracture
  • The provision of rotational stability
  • Prevention of lateral wall fracture and hence of fracture collapse

Physician Benefits

  • Minimized operative trauma and blood loss
  • No fracture exposure
  • Provides rotational stability

Patient Benefits

  • Minimally invasive procedures
  • Immediate weight bearing (surgeon advised)
  • Reduces postoperative pain
  • Comparatively, studies show decreased mortality1,2
